Why Does My VI Logger Task Not Run Continuously? Primary Software: Other NI Software>>VI LoggerPrimary Software Version: 2.0 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A
Problem: I created a VI Logger Task from a DAQmx Task. When I run the VI Logger task, it returns my data only after it stops. How can I configure it to run and display data in real-time? Solution: While running, VI Logger will show data on the Real Time Data tab if the Acquisition Mode is set to continuous. Additionally, once you have set your DAQmx Task to continuous you must Save the Task before any changes will be applied to your VI Logger Task. To change the Acquisition Mode, click on the DAQmx Task under Data Neighborhood. In the right-hand properties window select the Acquisition Mode from the Task Timing tab. After selecting the desired mode, click Save Task. Your VI Logger Task will be updated with the new settings as it is linked to the DAQmx Task.
