Where All Can I Change the Inhibit Line Settings?

Primary Software: Utility Software>>Measurement & Automation Explorer
Primary Software Version: 1.0.1
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: N/A

Problem: When I change my inhibit settings in some places, it seems to have no effect. Are there other places to change my inhibit lines? If so, where are they?

Solution:

There are two places where you can edit the settings for inhibit lines:

  1. Open MAX and navigate to the file tree on the left side.  Open Devices and Interfaces » NI Motion Devices » PCI-73xx » Default 73XX Settings.  Under each axis, in the Motion I/O Settings, there is a set of Inhibit Output Settings and Inhibit Input Settings that can be changed.  Based on your card and configuration some of these settings may not be available for adjustment.
  2. Within a LabVIEW program there are two functions which affect inhibit lines.  Configure Inhibit Output.flx can control most inhibit settings and Set Inhibit MOMO.flx allows Must On/Must Off protocol to set them.

Refer to the links below for more information on inhibit lines.
