Problem: In my main VI I have a sub VI in many locations. I would like to replace my sub VI and not have to do this one-by-one. What is the easiest way to change out my sub VI? Solution: You need to first have all your VIs organized in a project (main VI and sub VIs). Make sure that you don’t have any VIs open. Then, simply right-click on the sub VI and select Replace with…. You can then browse to the VI you would like to use. LabVIEW will replace the old VI in the project as well as any project item containing references to that VI (such as the main VI).
