Simulation Translator Does Not Create a File in Simulation Module 8.2

Problem:
Why does Simulation Translator act as if it has translated my model, but actually does not create the file?

Solution:

Previous versions of the Simulation Translator would not recognize end-of-line characters in certain Simulink® model files.  In previous versions it would search for 0 or more instances of \r followed by \n, for example, \r*\n.  Yet some mdl files had only a \r for the end of line.  In these models Simulation Translator would simply not create a translated file.

This behavior has been corrected as of the Control Design and Simulation Module 8.5.
