What Do I Do When the Status LED on my cFP-2020 Stays Lit? Hardware: Compact FieldPoint>>Controllers>>cFP-2020
Problem: I just powered up my cFP-2020 and the Status LED is staying lit. According to the cFP-20xx manual, the controller did not power up correctly and I should contact National Instruments. How do I fix this? Solution: Please check the position of your dip switches. If you have switches 6,7, and 8 all in the ON position, then the Status LED will stay lit. There is nothing wrong with the controller as this is expected behavior with the cFP-2020. To set the Status LED back into a normal state, do not flip all three dip switches into the ON position at the same time. For example, if you would like to reset the IP Address, only turn on dip switch 8 and reset the controller.
