LabVIEW SignalExpress Create Signal Express VI License Requirements with NI LabVIEW System Identification Toolkit

Problem:
I installed LabVIEW 8.2 or 8.2.1. and then installed the NI LabVIEW System Identification Toolkit, version 3.0 or 3.0.1. I activated both LabVIEW and the NI LabVIEW System Identification Toolkit, but now I receive a license pop-up when I try to place a LabVIEW SignalExpress Create Signal Express VI. Why is this happening and what can I do to fix it?

Solution:
The NI LabVIEW System Identification Toolkit license file disables the license for the LabVIEW SignalExpress Create Signal Express VI, shown below.

If you try to place the LabVIEW SignalExpress Create Signal Express VI you will receive an activation dialog window that states that your license has expired. An example of this dialog is shown in the following image.

In order to use the LabVIEW SignalExpress Create Signal Express VI, you will need to replace the NI LabVIEW System Identification Toolkit license file with an updated version. Please contact National Instruments technical support to obtain the correct license file and instructions for installing this file.
