Archived:NI System Web Server is Unregistered After Repair

Issue Details

I have repaired an installation of NI software that includes the NI System Web Server. Now that software is no longer functioning correctly. How do I fix this problem?

Solution

This problem can be resolved by running a second repair on the same distribution.  In general, if you repair the installation of any of these distributions for any reason, you should complete this process a second time to ensure the NI System Web Server is registered. Be sure to restart your computer between repairs if prompted and ensure no background programs are using the LabVIEW Run-Time engine. 

This issue affects the following application software, application software modules, add-on software, and driver software.

Additional Information

In LabVIEW 2013, there was a known issue where repairing LabVIEW would uninstall the Service Locator Dependency. However, this was fixed in the f1 patch as shown in LabVIEW 2013 Patch Details.
