SCC Modules in SCC-68 Rail Hardware: SCC, SCC>>Modules
Problem: When an SCC module is placed in an SCC-68 the signals appear to rail and no readable signal can come through. Everything seems to be connected properly for the sensor, but nothing seems to make it read properly. Solution: The reason that the SCC module is railing is because the SCC-68 requires that AI Sense be tied to AI Gnd in order for the grounds to be properly set. To make sure that you have the ground lines tied to one another connect a wire between Pins 62 and 67 as shown in the figure below.
