I Can't Run the NI 488.2 Troubleshooting Wizard Without Failure Unless I am an Administrator

Hardware: GPIB>>External Controllers/Convertors>>GPIB-USB-B

Problem: I do not have administrator access on my computer. When I try to run the NI 488.2 Troubleshooting Wizard, it fails on the last step. What is wrong?

Solution: You must have write access to the GPIB.INI file located in C:\Windows\System32 directory. Most non-administrator accounts do not have write access to this file. You will have to log on as an administrator and give Everyone write access to this file if you want non-administrator users to be able to run the NI 488.2 Troubleshooting Wizard.
