RS-232 Function ComRdTerm Incorrectly Sets rs232err to -99 Primary Software: LabWindows/CVI Development Systems>>Full Development SystemPrimary Software Version: 3.0.1 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A Hardware: Serial>>RS-232
Problem: When using the RS-232 ComRdTerm function, if the specified termination character is read from the in queue buffer, the function should return with the data received and the rs232err global variable should be set to zero. It is incorrectly being set to -99 which states that a timeout has occurred. There is no performance degradation because the function completes as expected except for the incorrect err value.Solution: Patch 1 for CVI 3.0.1 fixes the problem.
