How do you import a DXF file into the board outline layer in Ultiboard?

Problem: How do you import a DXF file into the board outline layer in Ultiboard?

Solution: To merge a DXF file into the board outline layer:

1. Select File>>Import>>DXF.
2. Locate the DXF file you wish to import into Ultiboard.
3. In the 'DXF import setting' dialog box, click on Merge import data into existing layer.
4. Click on the drop down arrow and select Board Outline.


5. Be careful when selecting the unit. DXF files do not have unit information, the unit you select should match with what was used when creating the outline. For example, if you created a 3x4 inch outline in your CAD application, when you merge it into Ultiboard you must choose inches as the unit of measurement.
