Problem: I am using a GPIB-232CT-A and Measure 2.0 for Windows. All of a sudden, Excel will crash with the error OpenPort error on line #168. What is causing this error? Solution: This is a problem with the GPIB-232CT-A driver. Make sure you're using the latest version of the GPIB-232CT-A driver by checking the GPIB Support Website. If you still have this problem after the driver upgrade, you can use the attached "Gpib.xla" file for Measure (in the Attachments section below) which includes a workaround for the problem in the GPIB driver.
