Problem: I have installed Measurement Studio and included support for Visual C++ for Visual Studio 2005 Express edition. Why do I get "fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'afxwin.h': No such file or directory" when I try to compile examples that are included with the installation of Measurement Studio? Solution: This build error occurs because Visual Studio 2005 Express Edition does not support the MFC libraries. Because the National Instruments Visual C++ Examples are written with the MFC libraries, they will not work with Visual Studio 2005 Express Edition.
