Problem: I am using NI-RIO 2.4 with fixed point I/O and an NI 9219 in a CompactRIO. How can I convert the FXP channel value in the real-time controller or host PC to temperature units, accounting for the CJC value? Solution: You will need to download the attached file, NI 9219 for 8.5.zip. Extract this into the <labview>\examples\CompactRIO\Module Specific directory, and choose to overwrite the existing files and folders when prompted by Windows. Once installed, wire the Channel Value, CJC Value, and Thermocouple Type into the NI 9219 Convert Calibrated FXP to Thermocouple.vi in your host VI. This VI is found in <labview>\examples\CompactRIO\Module Specific\NI 9219\NI 9219 Scaling Utility\NI 9219 Scaling Support Files.llb This VI will be integrated into the next version of NI-RIO.
