How do I Get a Specific Panel in My Application to Show When I Launch Lookout ?Primary Software: LookoutPrimary Software Version: 5.0 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A
Problem: I have developed a Lookout application with several panels and I want the main panel to show automatically as Lookout is started. I have placed the path to my Lookout process file in Options >> Startup.. however, when I launch Lookout the process opens and all the panels are minimized. How do I define and make a panel visible when Lookout is launched? Solution: In order to define which panel in your process file will be shown as Lookout is launched you need to write a "true" or "1" value to the activate or maximize datamember of the panel object you want to be automatically shown . Activate will cause the panel to appear in it's default or restored position. Maximize will fill the panel to the size of the current Lookout workspace. Doing this will allow that one panel to be shown as Lookout is started and all the other panels will be minimized. Related Links: KnowledgeBase ID 2OQAJDOH.
