Error Opening LVM Files in DIAdem

Problem:
I have created an LVM file using the Write to Measurement File Express VI in LabVIEW. When I try and open this file in DIAdem, DIAdem gives me an error saying "Cannot load the file with the loading mode 'LVM' ". Why is this error happening?

Solution:
The problem is that DIAdem needs a header to know how much data is inside the file. In the configuration dialog for the Write to Measurement File Express VI, select One Header Per Segment or One Header Only. DIAdem should now be able to load the LVM file.

In general it is recommended to use the TDM or TDM Streaming format when saving files for use in DIAdem. Refer to the Related Links section below for more information.
