Why Won't the Introduction to NI ELVIS Courseware VIs Work with an M Series Board? Hardware: Signal Conditioning Other
Problem: The current Introduction to NI-ELVIS Courseware VIs will work when the NI ELVIS workstation is connected to an M Series board. Solution: The Courseware VIs are written using Traditional DAQ (Legacy) functions, so they cannot be used with M Series boards, which require NI-DAQmx. These VIs have all been rewritten to use NI-DAQmx functions and are now compatible with M Series boards. The zip file that is attached to this KnowledgeBase article contains the modified VIs that can be used instead of the VIs which come with the current Introduction to NI ELVIS Courseware kit. This zip files does not contain the entire courseware contents, so you must first download the existing courseware material and substitute those VIs with the ones that are in this zip file.
