My Switches Relay Information Doesn't Populate in NISE 3.0, What Should I Do?

Primary Software: Switch Executive
Primary Software Version: 3.0
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: Switch Executive

Problem:
I have configured my virtual device in NI Switch Executive 3.0, and have given my NI switch a unique name.  My schematic shows up, but when I select the switch belonging to my virtual device, there isn't any relay information listed, and the Refresh button is greyed out.  How do I populate the Relay Information?

Solution:
1. Scroll down to the IVI Drivers section of the Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) Configuration tree.
2. Expand Logical Names and find your switch. If this doesn’t appear, you may need to save your MAX settings, as well as refresh MAX.
3. Once you have clicked on your switch, click on Go To, this will bring you to the Driver Session that your logical name is associated with.

4. Select the Hardware tab.
               a. For you to populate and view the relay information of your switch, you will need to
configure the name of the Hardware Asset.
               b. The name should be the same as your logical name (MAX does not automatically
change this for you). You may change the name by double-clicking on it and typing
                   the logical name .
5. At the top of the page, click on Save IVI Configuration
6. Return to your Virtual Device, and click on your switch.
           a. At the top of the page, hit the Revert button. Your relay information should then populate.
