Why Do I Get Error -200077 When Trying to Configure My SCXI-1120/D?

Hardware: SCXI>>Modules>>SCXI-1120D

Problem:
I have a SCXI-1120/D connected to an M-Series card. When I try to acquire data in a Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) Test Panel, I receive the following error:

Error -200077 occurred at Test Panel

Possible Reason(s):

Requested value is not a supported value for this property.

Property: AI.Min
You Have Requested: -10.000000
Valid Values Begin with: -5.0e-3
Valid Values End with: 5.0e-3

Channel Name: SC1Mod1/ai0

My M-Series card should be able to allow voltages between -10 and 10 volts. What is going on?

Solution:
You are experiencing this error because the default gain setting for the SCXI-1120/D is 1000. You can change the gain setting in MAX by right-clicking the module and selecting Properties. In the Jumpers tab, you can change the gain and filter settings for the SCXI-1120/D. If you want to apply no gain, then simply set the gain to 1.

Note: Make sure the gain and filter settings you specify in software match the physical jumper locations on SCXI-1120/D. These jumper locations can be found in the SCXI-1120/D User Manual linked below.
