How Do I Get Two Different Types of Data to Be Graphed with Different Scales Using Virtual Bench Logger?Primary Software: Other NI Software>>VirtualBenchPrimary Software Version: 2.5 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A
Problem: I have two different types of inputs: temperature and pressure. How do I use different Y-axes to graph the different types of data using Virtual Bench Logger? Solution: In Virtual Bench Logger, you are able to select a range of channels to log (color coded). When you select this range, each channel is configured as a certain type of input. Make sure you select temperature for the temperature channels and VDC for the pressure channel. When you go back to the main Logger window, select the channel above each axis for which you want that axis to be scaled to. For example, assume channels 0-5 are temperature and channel 6 is pressure. If you go to the left Y-axis and select any channel from 0 to 5, that axis will be scaled to temperature. If you go to the right Y-axis and select channel 6, it will be scaled to VDC (-10 to 10 V).
