DIAdem's Excel import sometimes omits the contents of several text cells, if other cells have more than one format per cell. Primary Software: DIAdemPrimary Software Version: 10.1 Primary Software Fixed Version: Secondary Software: N/A
Problem: To import and export Excel files, DIAdem offers a file filter with the GPI interface. In rare cases, this file filter does not respond correctly to text cells that have multiple formats within their text, for example, if some of the letters are in bold. When this problem occurs, the preview shows one or more empty cells instead of the respective text cells. These empty cells can appear anywhere in the table, and even in other tables. Up to now, this problem has occurred only in Excel files that have more than one table. Solution: As a workaround, we recommend that you reformat text cells that have multiple formats, which means giving all letters the same font, size, position, and so on. In the long term, we plan to rework the entire Excel import procedure in DIAdem. Related Links: Attachments:
