SCXI Switch Device Listed as "SCXI-Custom Module" Hardware: Switches
Problem: I have setup a SCXI chassis in Traditional NI-DAQ and one of my switch modules will be auto-detected as a SCXI-Custom Module. Solution: The reason for this is because certain NI Switch devices are only supported under the NI-DAQmx driver. In order to get this switch module operational, you will need to configure your SCXI chassis under the NI-DAQmx Devices folder in Measurement and Automation Explorer. To find what devices are only supported under DAQmx, refer to the section Devices Supported Only in NI-DAQmx in the NI- DAQ 7.x Readme located at the following path: C:\Program Files\National Instruments\NI-DAQ\readme.html Related Links: Attachments:
