Yellow Exclamation Mark Present on a VME Frame in MAXHardware: VXI/VME/MXI
Problem: Why do I see a yellow exclamation mark icon on my VME frame in Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX)? Solution: The yellow exclamation mark icon (also known as a yellow bang) is an indication by the VXI driver that a problem is present for that item. In most cases when using a VME frame, a yellow bang on the frame is an indication for a loss of VXI functionality since only a VME frame is being used. To check on the details for the yellow bang, right-click on the frame and select Properties from the shortcut menu: In the Properties box, the Device Status section will report the cause(s) for the yellow bang. In the case of multiple issues are reported, click on the » button to view the other status reports.
