Problem: I have a USB camera that I am using with the NI-IMAQ for USB Cameras driver. I want to configure my camera in Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX), but the camera is not listed under the NI-IMAQ Devices folder. How can I configure my USB camera? Solution: USB cameras using the NI-IMAQ for USB Cameras driver will not appear in MAX. This driver uses a DirectShow filter to access the camera manufacturer's settings. Therefore, the only way to access the camera and its attributes is through LabVIEW using the IMAQ USB PropertyPage VI and the IMAQ USB GetImageInfo VI, both of which can be found in the Vision and Motion»IMAQ USB section of the Functions Palette.
