GPIB-ENET/100 Does Not Show Up in Add GPIB Hardware Wizard Hardware: GPIB>>External Controllers/Convertors>>GPIB-ENET, Instrument Connectivity Other>>Ethernet>>GPIB-ENET
Problem: While following the instructions to install the GPIB-ENET/100, Windows prompts me with with the Add New GPIB Hardware Wizard, and I see PCI-GPIB and other PCI/ISA cards in the list. Why don't I see GPIB-ENET/100 in the list? Solution: This is usually a result of having an out-of-date version of the NI-488.2 driver installed on your computer. Check to ensure that you are using the latest driver for the ENET/100 and your operating system. NI-488.2 drivers are distributed with LabVIEW and LabWindows/CVI, as well as with the GPIB hardware, so it is possible that other PCI-GPIB cards were installed using an older version of the driver. The proper procedure for adding a GPIB-ENET/100 to a system that already contains a PCI-GPIB or other card with an older version is as follows:
