Serial ENET Hardware Fails Troubleshooting Wizard After Installing Multiple Serial ENET Devices Hardware: Instrument Connectivity Other>>Ethernet>>ENET-232/4, Instrument Connectivity Other>>Ethernet>>ENET-232/4
Problem: I have recently installed two or more Serial ENET devices on my computer. After restarting my computer, I run the Troubleshooting Wizard and one or more of the devices fail the COM Ports Sequentially Verified test. What is causing this failure? Solution: Assuming that both devices are working correctly, this failure could be caused by adding both of the devices. If you added the devices without restarting your computer between installations, the above error message can occur. According to the Serial Device User Manual, there is a step by step process to install each device. After running the Add Serial ENET Wizard, you need to restart your computer to stop this error from happening.
