Problem: Why am I experiencing user interface problems when trying to use the Express VI Development Toolkit 1.0 with LabVIEW 8.0 or later? Solution: Due to new technologies, the LabVIEW Express VI Development Toolkit 1.0 requires a patch to work properly with LabVIEW 8.0 or later. Without this patch, the following problems can occur: - When you press the New button to create a new Express VI, the LabVIEW Getting Started window can open in front and make it difficult to get back to the Express VI Development window. - When you copy certain shipping Express VIs, the new Express VI doesn't appear correctly in the main tree and cannot find it's Configuration Dialog Box VI. - When you double-click on a VI in the Create or Edit Express VI tree, it will not open in the user's application space as it should.
