Why Is My Executable Deleted when I Power Cycle My TPC-2006? Hardware: Industrial Communications>>HMI and Industrial PC>>TPC-2006
Problem: I have created an executable for my TPC-2006 device and saved it to the \My Documents directory. When I cycle the power for the unit, the executable is lost. How can I permanentaly save my executable to my TPC-2006?Solution: The executable is being deleted because the files in \My Documents are stored in volatile memory that is lost upon power loss or reboot. To save the executable in a non-volatile location set the Remote path for target execution to the \HardDisk directory or a subdirectory of this location.
