Does the NI 9151 Affect the Performance of my C Series Modules?Hardware: CompactRIO>>Chassis (Backplanes)>>cRIO-9151
Problem: I am using the NI 9151 R Series Expansion Chassis with my PXI R Series card. Does using the expansion chassis affect the performance of my C Series modules compared to using them in a normal CompactRIO Chassis? Solution: The expansion chassis does inflict different speed limitations on several modules. Additionally, the NI 9151 does not support sharing timebases between modules that have Delta-Sigma ADC. Below is a list of modules affected (either speed or ability to share clocks) when used with the NI 9151 R Series Expansion Chassis. Module specifications will list any speed differences between active and passive backplanes.
