Why do I get FLEXlm License Finder Error?Primary Software: Driver Software>>NI-HSDIOPrimary Software Version: 1.5.3 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A Hardware: Digital I/O (DIO)>>High-Speed>>NI VideoMASTER for Digital Video Analysis
Problem: I try to run my VideoMASTER sequence in TestStand and I get the following error Why do I get this error? Solution: This error is the result of a missing license file on the host system when trying to run the VideoMASTER software. When you purchase the VideoMASTER hardware and software, there are one or more license files that will be contained on the distribution disc in a License Files folder. There might also be a license CD that is separate fromt the rest of the software. Each of these license files is associated with a corresponding piece of hardware. This association is indicated by the name of the .lic file, which includes the hardware serial number as part of the name. Key Point: If the installation of NI VideoMASTER did not automatically transfer the license file from the distribution media to the License Files folder on the host system, then this must be done manually. If these license files are not present, the error in the problem section will be received. The License Files folder on the host system can be found, by default, at the following file path: C:\Program Files\microLEX Systems\License FilesThis is where the .lic file must be placed to run the VideoMASTER software.
