Can Measure Acquire a Triggered Serial Acquisition?

Problem: I've got a serial instrument that sends a trigger. I want to configure Measure to acquire serial data a certain amount of time before and a certain amount of time after the trigger. Is this possible?

Solution: The Serial functions in Measure for Excel do not allow for a trigger setup. In order to accomplish this functionality you would need a program that offers more options to the user. You can check out our On-line Catalog to learn more about National Instruments' LabVIEW and Measurement Studio, two software packages that can accomplish this task.
