LabVIEW 7.1.1 Executable Can Not Find VIs When Using DAQmx Base on Host Computer Primary Software: Driver Software>>NI-DAQmx BasePrimary Software Version: 1.4 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: LabVIEW Run-Time Engine
Problem: When I try to run my LabVIEW 7.1.1 executable on my host computer (which does not have LabVIEW installed), I receive the following errors: Missing SubVI Fushion.ReadthenWrite.vi in VI Fushion.Global.GetDescription.vi Missing SubVI Fushion.ReadthenWrite.vi in VI Fushion.DIOImmediate.GetDIOInfo.vi ...and many more... The executable works fine on the computer which has LabVIEW installed. How can I get my executable to run and why am I receiving these errors? Solution: The DAQmx Base Vis installed on the host computer (without LabVIEW) may not be the proper version. Even if the LabVIEW Run-time Engine installed on this computer is the proper version (7.1.1), the Vis included with the DAQmx Base driver need to be mass compiled by LabVIEW 7.1.1. But it is not possible to mass compile the DAQmx Base Vis without LabVIEW installed on the host computer. One solution is to revert back to LabVIEW 7.1; if you must have LabVIEW 7.1.1, it might not be an option. Another possible solution would be to mass compile the missing VIs on the development computer and use the mass compiled VIs to replace the VIs on the host computer (the computer without LabVIEW).
