Do 4-axis UMIs Work with 2-axis Motion Controllers?Hardware: Motion Control>>Controllers>>PCI-7342, Motion Control>>Controllers>>PCI-7344
Problem: In the User Manual for the UMI-7764, it only says that the UMI is compatible with all 7344 controllers; it does not mention the 7342. Are they compatible? Solution: Yes, the UMI-7764 is compatible with all 733x, 734x, and 735x controllers. Because the 7342 is only a 2 axis controller, axis 3 and 4 on the UMI will not be connected to anything on the controller.
