ECU Measurement and Calibration Toolkit 2.1.0 with LabVIEW 8.5

Problem: How do I use the ECU Measurement and Calibration Toolkit with LabVIEW 8.5?
Solution: The ECU Measurement and Calibration Toolkit 2.1.0 does not give the option to install to a LabVIEW 8.5 Directory, however you can install the files to a LabVIEW 8.2 Directory (even if you do not have LabVIEW 8.2 installed) and then manually install the files for LabVIEW 8.5:
- Insert the ECU Measurement and Calibration Toolkit 2.1.0 CD-ROM.
- Run the Setup Wizard.
- Under the install options, select the option to install LabVIEW 8.2 support as shown in the image below.
- Proceed with the installation.
- Using Windows Explorer, copy the directories LabVIEW 8.2\vi.lib\ECUMC and LabVIEW 8.2\vi.lib\addons\ECUMC (If you do not have LabVIEW 8.2 installed the directories will have been created during the ECU Measurement and Calibration Toolkit 2.1.0 installation).
- Paste these directories into LabVIEW 8.5\vi.lib\ECUMC and LabVIEW 8.5\vi.lib\addons\ECUMC respectively.
- Open LabVIEW 8.5 and create a new and blank VI.
- Select Tools>>Advanced>>Mass Compile
- In the subsequent window, select the directory to compile as LabVIEW 8.5\vi.lib\ECUMC
- Select 'Mass Compile'
- When finished, repeat steps 8, 9 and 10 using the directory LabVIEW 8.5\vi.lib\addons\ECUMC
