ECU Measurement and Calibration Toolkit 2.1.2 with LabVIEW 2009

Problem:
How do I use the ECU Measurement and Calibration Toolkit 2.1.2 with LabVIEW 2009?

Solution:
The ECU Measurement and Calibration Toolkit 2.1.2 does not natively include LabVIEW 2009 support. However, you can install the files to a LabVIEW 8.6 directory and then manually copy the files to the analogous LabVIEW 2009 folders. Even if you don't have LabVIEW 8.6 installed, the installer will create the necessary directories from which you can copy the files:

1. Run the Setup file. 
2. Under the install options, select the option to install LabVIEW 8.6 support as shown in the image below.
3. Proceed with the installation.
4. Using Windows Explorer, copy the following directories:
• LabVIEW 8.6\vi.lib\ECUMC
• LabVIEW 8.6\vi.lib\addons\ECUMC
• LabVIEW 8.6\examples\ECUMC
5. Paste these directories respectively into:
• LabVIEW 2009\vi.lib\ECUMC
• LabVIEW 2009\vi.lib\addons\ECUMC
• LabVIEW 2009\examples\ECUMC
6. Copy the files niecumchelp.chm and niecumchelp.txt from the LabVIEW 8.6\help directory.
7. Paste these files into the LabVIEW 2009\help directory.
8. Mass compile the 3 directories you pasted with LabVIEW 2009 using  Tools»Advanced»Mass Compile
9. Restart LabVIEW
