Why Does My Sound File Play Incorrectly in LabVIEW?

Primary Software:
Primary Software Version: 8.0
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software:

Problem:
When I play my sound file using the LabVIEW Play Sound File.vi, all of the frequencies above 10kHz seem to play incorrectly.

Solution:
The default sampling rate for the sound output VIs is 22.05kHz. Use the Sound Output Configure VI to increase the sampling rate to 44.1kHz. See the attached example, Sound File to Sound Output.vi which can be found in the NI Example Finder.
