Problem: I upgraded to Measurement Studio 7.0 and noticed that a new version of NIReports.dll was installed. After this upgrade, my previous programs that used NIReports no longer function properly. What is happening? Solution: A new version of NIReports.dll is installed with both LabVIEW and Measurement Studio 7.0. This dll broke binary compatibility with the previous version of NIReports.dll. To reinstall the previous version of the NIReports.dll, do the following steps: 1) Delete NIReports.dll. It is found in National Instruments\Shared\NI-Reports\. 2) Under Control Panel >> Add or Remove Programs >> NI Measurement Studio 6.0, choose Change. 3) Choose Repair and the previous version of NIReports.dll will be used.
