Problem: I'd like to be able to target Vision Builder for Automated Inspection to my PXI RT chassis, acquire images using a firewire camera connected to a PXI-8252 in that chassis, and then run an inspection on those images. Is this possible? Solution: This is not possible at this point in time. VBAI can only be targeted to the host Windows PC or a CVS device. There is, however, a way around this. If you'd like to take advantage of the inspection approach of VBAI, you could develop your inspection on the host PC and generate LabVIEW code of the finished inspection. You'd then be able to target LabVIEW RT to the PXI RT chassis and run the code. But the only remote device to which VBAI will target is a CVS system.
