Calibration Executive 3.0 Returns Error -18002 When Executing a Calibration Procedure

Problem: I recently installed Calibration Executive 3.0. The Cal Exec application launches correctly, but when I attempt to run any of the calibration procedures, I always receive error code -18002 "The VI is not executable." What can I do to eliminate this error?

Solution: Most likely you are receiving this error because you have not yet installed the "May 2005 Device Driver Reference" CDs. A two-disc set, these CDs contain important parts of the calibration routines and are included with Calibration Executive 3.0. Completely installing the reference CDs will eliminate the error and the calibration procedures will successfully link all of their required components.
