AT-DSP2200 Installation in Windows NT

Problem: How do I install my AT-DSP2200 in Windows NT?
Solution: Board Installation
- Launch NI-DAQ Configuration Utility from Start menu » Programs » National Instruments DAQ. You will see the following window:
- Select "1:Empty" and click on "Configure/Test Device #1" to bring up the following window:
- From the "Devices" menu, select AT-DSP2200. It will prompt you to set the base address for the board.
Note:
a. You can check free resources avilable in your computer by launching Windows NT Diagnostics. (Start » Programs » Administrative Tools).
b. Note down the dip switch settings shown in the above window. This will help you to set the dip switches on the board.
- Save your configuration and power off your computer
- Set the base address dip switches on the board to match the settings made in NI-DAQ. Make use of the illustration shown in the above picture to set your switches.
- Plug the board in the computer
- Launch the NI-DAQ Configuration Utility again.
- Select AT-DSP2200 from the device list and click "Configure/Test Device"
- In the next window, go to "Test" menu and select "Configuration." It should give you a message that the "board is verified"
Note: If you get an error message "Board is not responding to the selected base address," refer to the KB's linked below.
