Do the VXI or PXI Embedded Controllers support USB 2.0?

Problem: Is USB 2.0 Supported on the VXI or PXI Embedded Controllers?

Solution: Yes, National Instrument's PXI-8186, PXI-8187, PXI-8195, PXI-8196, and PXIe-8103 controllers provide USB 2.0 ports. All other PXI and VXI controllers have USB 1.1 ports.

USB 2.0 was designed from the ground up to be backward compatible with USB 1.1. You can plug a USB 2.0 device into USB 1.1 port, and it will work, but it will only work at USB 1.1 speeds. Additionally, you can use a USB 2.0 device in a USB 1.1 port but it will downgrade to USB 1.1 speeds.
