Slave Axis Moves When Reseting Position and Configured for Gearing

Problem: When I check the reset position counter in Motion Assistant, the slave axis moves after the master axis completes its move. How do I stop this behavior?

Solution: The slave axis returns to the original zero position when you give the command to reset the position. In order to avoid this problem, you can disable gearing while you reset the position. Here are the steps to follow:
  1. Complete the move
  2. Disable the gearing
  3. Reset the position of both axes
  4. Enable the gearing again
