Problem: After downloading the LabWindows/CVI Evaluation Version, I decided to purchase the Base Development System. I tried to activate my currently installation of LabWindows/CVI using the serial number I received with my purchase of LabWindows/CVI Base, but I am unable to activate the Evaluation Version. Why is this happening and how do I fix this issue? Solution: The LabWindows/CVI Evaluation Version is an evaluation version of LabWindows/CVI Full Development System (FDS). Since you purchased LabWindows/CVI Base Development System, you will not be able to activate the LabWindows/CVI Evaluation Version you downloaded. Your copy of the LabWindows/CVI Base CD should arrive in the mail shortly. If you would like to activate LabWindows/CVI before your CD arrives, you can contact National Instruments Technical support to download an evaluation version of LabWindows/CVI Base, which can then be activated with your LabWindows/CVI Base serial number.
