Problem: What counters do I have available for general purpose use on my 1200 Family board?

Solution: If no other operations are going on, the 1200 Family boards provide three counters for general purpose use. However, if the board is doing analog input or analog output, certain counters are unavailable to you. Trying to configure a counter operation on a counter that is already in use will result in a -10411 error, counterBusyError (The specified counter is in use).

The following table, excerpted from the Hardware Capabilities table in the LabVIEW Online Help files, gives counter usage on the 1200 Family boards for various tasks. The B counters (B0, B1, and B2) are the three that are usually available to the user.
