Analysis covers all our VI's and toolkits that perform mathematical operations on data. This includes the advanced analysis libraries in the LabVIEW FDS, the base analysis libraries in the LabVIEW Base Package, the Gmath Toolkit, Digital Filter Design Toolkit (DFD), Third Octave Analyzer (TOA), Joint Time-Frequency Analysis Toolkit (JTFA), and Wavelet and Filter Bank Design Toolkit (WFBD).
What analysis capabilities does the LabVIEW FDS have as compared to the Base Package?
Advanced Analysis consists of (partially) these categories of VI's:
- Signal Generation - sine waves, square waves, triangle waves, noise, impulses, etc.
- Digital Signal Processing - Fourier and Hilbert transforms, correlations, convolutions, power spectrums
- Measurement - Amplitude and Phase response, impulse response, peak detector, harmonic analyzer, histogram
- Windows - Various time-domain windows for spectral analysis
- Filters - Butterworth, Chebyshev, Elliptic, general IIR and FIR, Bessel, Median filters
