Format a CCP Message with MC Generic.vi to Include the Command Counter

Primary Software: Driver Software>>NI-XNET
Primary Software Version: 17.0
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: Other NI Software>>ECU Measurement and Calibration Toolkit

Problem:
I am using MC Generic.vi to format an object to transmit to my ECU. The inputs to the VI do not include the command counter. When I add the command counter to the data field, I get an error that the message type is unsupported. How do I set up this VI to correctly include the command counter?

Solution:
The command counter will automatically be incremented by LabVIEW as objects are sent to the ECU. The following code snippet is a basic example:

This will send the command 0x02 with the following data bytes: {0x01, 0x02, 0x03, 0x04, 0x05}
