The Pointer or Fill Area of a Measurement Studio Linear Numeric Pointer Control (Slide, Tank, Thermometer) Gets Cut Off Primary Software: Measurement Studio>>.NET SupportPrimary Software Version: 8.0 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A
Problem: You observe this behavior in certain cases when you create a custom implementation of a Measurement Studio linear numeric pointer style. If you create an implementation of the LinearNumericPointerStyle class and override the SupportsCustomBounds property to return true, the pointer or the fill area of the Measurement Studio slide, tank, or thermometer control might appear to be clipped. This behavior happens if you return a Rectangle from GetFillAreaBounds that is not contained entirely within the bounds of the Measurement Studio slide, tank, or thermometer control.Solution: To solve this problem, you can return a Rectangle that is contained entirely within the bounds of the slide, tank, or thermometer control from your GetFillAreaBounds implementation. You also can use a 2D style for the slide, tank, or thermometer control style to fix this behavior.Related Links: Attachments:
