Channel Names Cause Incorrect Analog Output on NI USB DAQ Devices Primary Software: Driver Software>>NI-DAQmxPrimary Software Version: N/A Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A Hardware: CompactRIO>>Analog Output Modules>>NI 9263, CompactRIO>>Analog Output Modules>>NI 9265, CompactRIO>>Analog Output Modules>>NI 9264
Problem: When generating a voltage on the analog output of my USB devices (such as the USB-6008/9, cDAQ 9263) I notice that if the channels in my task have a numeric value at the end of the channel name, then I generate incorrect values. Why is this and how can I fix it? Solution: This behavior was a bug in NI-DAQmx 8.5 but was not present in previous versions of the driver. It has been fixed for NI-DAQmx 8.6 and later. Please upgrade to the most recent version of NI-DAQmx. Related Links: Attachments:
