Problem: When I launch the Icon Editor from the tools menu in the LabWindows/CVI environment or from the Start Menu, I get the following error: Error Code = -14. Value is invalid or our of range.How can I fix this issue? Solution: To fix this issue, you need to open the Iconedit example in the directory. Once opened, set the build configuration to Release through the Build»Configuration»Release menu item. Once the configuration has been set to Release, rebuild the Iconedit project. You will now be able to run the Icon Editor from the Tools menu in the LabWindows/CVI environment, as well as from the Start Menu.If you get a message saying that the iconedit.exe could not be opened, rename or delete the existing iconedit.exe and rebuild the project.
