LabWindows/CVI Conversion Wizard in Visual Studio 6.0 Requires Absolute Paths for Function Panel Files

Problem:
When I use the LabWindows/CVI Project Conversion Wizard in Visual C++ 6.0, I receive errors saying that files are not found and that the project contains references to files that do not exist. The conversion wizard showed me a message that told me to open the project in CVI and update the paths which I did but that didn't help. What's the problem?

Solution:
The LabWindows/CVI Project Conversion Wizard in Visual Studio 6.0 has trouble when function panels files are set to use relative paths. To fix this issue, open the project in LabWindows/CVI, select Edit » Project and then select the Use Absolute Path for File option for your function panel files.
