CDEx Flexible Joint.vi Example Missing VIs

Problem:
I am trying to open up the Control Design Example "CDEx Flexible Joint.vi", which is installed with the Control Design Toolkit, and the Example can not find certain subVIs while opening.  It is looking for VIs like:
  • <vilib>:\addons\picture3d\Draw Scene.vi
  • <vilib>:\addons\picture3d\ObjectManager\Render Scene.vi
  • <vilib>:\addons\picture3d\CameraManager\controller\Update Camera With Controller.vi
  • etc...
I have LabVIEW 8.2.1, which has the 3D Picture Control, and the Control Design Toolkit 2.1.1(also occurs with CDT 2.1.2) all installed.  Why will the example not open correctly?

Solution:
In the Control Design Toolkit versions 2.1.1 and 2.1.2 there are a couple of examples that reference an older version of the 3D Picture Control.   

If you need this example to work correctly you will have to install the older version of the 3D Picture Control from:
